T.I. here, bringing you some of the latest news in Hollywood!
Cartoon Network just announced that they will be opening an indoor branded theme park in Kuwait City sometime this year. I’ve never been to Kuwait and I don’t want to be disrespectful, but why there? Surely, there are safer places… like Washington D.C.!!
Well, well… the WGA strike has come to a close! Hooray!! No more re-runs… actually, that’s not quite true. Re-runs will go on for awhile at least until new episodes can be completed. So I guess I’ll still have to continue to watch beautiful models doling out some cash for just a little while longer… not that I’m complaining! And then there’s always new stuff on Monday nights. No, not Monday Night Football! I’m talking about the intriguing Sarah Connor Chronicles… Man, is that Brit Lena Headey hot!! And Summer Glau as the female terminator isn’t too shabby, either!
On February 10th, another great actor left us. Roy Scheider, best known his roles in Jaws, All That Jazz and Blue Thunder, had been battling myeloma for the past three years and died of complications from a staph infection. He was 75 years old.
LOOKING BACK
25 years ago, Michael Jackson’s Thriller was released… and to this day, the music still thrills! (Pun intended) The music videos, Beat It and Billie Jean, and that mini-movie, Thriller, directed by John Landis, showcased all of Michael’s awesome dance moves. And moon-walking—don’t forget it—was the craze!! MJ… what happened to you?I miss those golden days…(Hey, did I just kinda reveal my age?)
